Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

QuiBingo is a free educational bingo game based on the Periodic Table, developed and operated by Prof. Felipe Perin. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and protect information throughout your use of the site, in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law No. 13.709/2018).

2. Data collected and purposes

2.1 Player name (QuiBingo Classic)

In classic mode, you voluntarily provide a name or nickname to enter the game room. This data is stored temporarily in our database (Supabase) and used solely to identify your card during the match, display the winners' board and record bingo requests. Room data — including player names, bingo requests and winners — is automatically deleted after 24 hours of room inactivity.

We do not collect email, password, ID number or any other identifiable personal data. The name provided can be any nickname.

2.2 Daily game progress

In QuiBingo Solo (Daily) mode, your attempts, card markings and play time are saved solely in your browser's local storage. This data is not transmitted to any server and is available only on the device you play on. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's browsing data.

2.3 Usage data and advertising

This site shows ads via Google AdSense. Google may collect data such as IP address, device identifiers and browsing information through third-party cookies to display personalized ads. We do not have direct access to this data.

3. Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

• Functional: local storage (localStorage) to save your progress in daily mode. These are not traditional cookies and do not leave your device.
• Advertising (third-party): Google AdSense cookies for ad display and measurement.

You can disable third-party cookies in your browser settings. This will not affect the game's core functionality.

4. Data sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Game room data is processed by the following subprocessors:

• Google AdSense — ad delivery (as described in section 2.3).

5. Data retention

Game room data (room name, player names, bingo requests and winners) is automatically deleted from the database after 24 hours of room inactivity. Local storage data remains on your device until you delete it manually.

6. Minors

QuiBingo is intended for educational use, including by underage students, in a supervised school setting. We do not collect sensitive personal data of minors. The only data entered is the name (which can be a nickname), and it is not retained after the session.

7. Security

We adopt reasonable technical measures to protect information transmitted to the site (HTTPS connection). The database operates with access control via row-level security (RLS) policies. Stored data is minimal (only a name/nickname per player) and automatically deleted within 24 hours after the session ends.

8. Changes to this policy

This Policy may be updated periodically. The date of the last revision is shown at the top. We recommend you review it occasionally.
